Terms and Conditions

1. General

These terms and conditions govern the use of the ARi digital platform (hereinafter, "the Platform"), operated by ARi S.A., a company incorporated in Costa Rica, authorized by the Central Bank of Costa Rica to conduct currency exchange operations.

2. Eligibility requirements

To use the Platform, you must: be at least 18 years old, have a valid Costa Rican national ID or DIMEX, and have at least one active IBAN account at a regulated financial institution in Costa Rica, in both colones and US dollars.

3. Exchange operations

Currency exchange operations are settled through the DTR (Real-Time Debit) and PIN (National Interbank Payments) systems of the Central Bank of Costa Rica. The applicable exchange rate is the one in effect at the time of transaction confirmation. ARi does not charge additional fees beyond the displayed exchange rate.

4. Security

The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials. Passwords must meet the minimum security requirements set by the Platform. ARi will never request your credentials via email, phone, or WhatsApp.

5. Liability

ARi shall not be liable for settlement delays caused by the Central Bank system, user connection failures, or incorrect information provided during registration. Confirmed operations are not reversible.

6. Modifications

ARi reserves the right to modify these terms. Changes will be notified through the Platform at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of the Platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

7. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of San José, Costa Rica.
